Committees

Management Committee

The Youth Management Committee has overall responsibility for Baptist Youth on behalf of Churches' Council, and consists of 12 voting members and 3 ex-officio members (Association President, Association Director and Youth Director). Members serve for 4 years. Sub-committees are appointed by Youth Management Committee to take responsibility for various areas of Baptist Youth activities. There are approximately 40 individuals across all committees who volunteer their services in order that BY can put together a full programme of events each year.

Evangelism Committee

The BYE committee assists young believers in building and strengthening their faith by providing opportunities for them to train for and engage in evangelism.

Camp Committee

The Camp committee provides opportunities for children and young people to have a holiday in a Christian environment and to assist young believers in building and strengthening their faith by providing opportunities for them to organize and run the holiday.

Youth Ministry Committee

The Youth Ministry committee works alongside youth leadership teams to win young people and build-up young believers in their faith by providing training, resources and organising events.

Children’s Ministry Committee

The Children's ministry committee works alongside children’s leadership teams to win children and build-up young believers in their faith by promoting, organising and running events and activities for children; providing training for leaders; including activities which support and mobilise local churches in schools’ ministry.

Missions Committee

The Missions committee assists young believers in building and strengthening their faith by providing opportunities for them to develop a missionary focus in their lives.

Student Ministry Committee

The Student ministry committee seeks to aid local churches in supporting students through their time at University by providing resources and organsing events.
