Cavan Baptist Church has been a witness in the Cavan area for close to 19 years now. On the first week of July, six of us travelled there to help run 5-day clubs, a Holiday Bible Club and some youth activities. The Holiday Bible Club was held at the Church in the evenings with 60-70 kids coming along. The 5-Day clubs were a pioneer endeavour for the Church and were held in two different neighbourhoods. The youth events were held in a local community centre and entailed an acoustic night and also two games nights. The culmination of the week was the Friday night BBQ which kids, parents & youth all came along to.  The joy of the week was looking back and seeing how many times and in how many different contexts God’s word was shared with people. All in all a great week!
